The ABC's Of Subluxations

Vertebral subluxations occur when spinal joints and associated structures ( bones, muscles, nerves, ligaments, discs) do not "function well". This results in loss of motion, pain, discomfort, muscle weakness/ spasm, and changes in motor (muscle) control resulting in stress to your spinal cord and nervous system.

Subluxations may be caused by poor sleeping habits, poor posture, strenuous exercise, injuries, auto accidents, sports, slips or falls, and in some cases, the birthing process itself.

It is important to understand that such loss of function can manifest itself in many ways and may develop gradually without any obvious symptoms. At first, you may experience a decline in function and altered biomechanics (movement), which may increase your risk of injury. This may also lead to the development of many pain syndromes not initiated by trauma.

Chiropractic adjustments are very helpful in correcting subluxations and restoring optimal health.
